DESCRIPTION:EY järjestää yhdessä Suomen Liikematkayhdistyksen kanssa webinaarin liikematkustukseen liittyvistä ajankohtaisista velvoitteista torstaina 22.10. klo 9.00-10.00. \nWebinaarissa käydään läpi lähetettyjen työntekijöiden direktiivin velvoitteita ja syvennytään mm. yhdenvertaisen palkkauksen käsitteeseen\, sekä siihen\, missä tilanteessa ilmoitus lähetetystä työntekijästä tulee tehdä. Kommentoimme liikematkustuksesta syntyviä vakuuttamiseen liittyviä velvoitteita\, mm. A1-todistusten tarvetta. This time we will take a look at The new ISO Travel Risk Management standard and the impact on the traveller in the future\, in particular around Health Security and Covid-19 assurance. \nSpeaker: Bob Quick\, Director and Founder of Global Secure Solutions Ltd. \nSome aspects of business travel have regulatory or quality regimes (e.g. aviation\, rail transportation etc) that help tremendously when assessing risk\, but there is a challenge when selecting accommodation. There are no consistent global standards for accommodation safety\, hygiene and security. Hotels are inherently vulnerable to criminals and terrorists alike. \nWith the recent Covid-19 pandemic corporates are asking what are the standards for hotels and how do they know that their travellers are safe? The introduction of the ‘Travel Risk Management’ standard is long overdue. Travel risk is real\, and represents a major risk for many employees and their employers. \nWhilst the risks and threats cannot all be eliminated; they can be minimised and mitigated by adopting tried and tested risk management processes. The ISO standards development process has assembled considerable expertise at a global level to consider these threats and risks\, including Covid-19 and to identify the best management and mitigation practices to help make travel a safer endeavour. \nWe are going to discuss how the new ISO 31030 Travel Risk Management Standard will assist corporate travel managers in adopting good practice\, which will improve the travel experience and meet the duty of care. \nThere is no participation fee for members of DBTA\, FBTA\, NBTA and SBTA. We still agree that unless the Swedish health authorities recommend against holding larger meetings\, we will not be cancelling. The reasoning has its origin in respect and concern for an industry under extreme pressure and the need to address the situation. We’re working on raising the industry situation in a session during the Summit and will get back to registered participants with more information. \nWe are of course monitoring the situation on a daily basis\, ready to amend our decision if necessary. We will obviously notify all concerned if any changes are made. \nNeedless to say\, we ask those who have visited any of the contaminated regions\, or met with people who have been there\, not to attend the NBTS. DESCRIPTION:Update 10 March: #NBTS2020 will be moved – see you in Stockholm in March 2021 \nAfter careful consideration and lengthy deliberations with key stakeholders\, we have decided to move this year’s NBTS to March 2021. \nWe will in the next few weeks contact all sponsors\, speakers\, panellists and delegates. Our hope and ambition is to find a way in which to make use of the resources already submitted from sponsors and others.
