A study has been conducted on this topic by Janne Aarniovuori as part of his of his eMBA studies at Hanken School of Economics. Janne will go through his study\, including a brief history and basics of airline distribution and NDC backed up by a theoretical framework\, and share findings in his study based on corporate buyer interviews. Vielä on paljon epävarmuutta tulevasta ja kysymyksiä\, joihin ei ole vastausta. \nTule mukaan laatimaan NDC-tiekartta yhteisvoimin ke 6.4. klo 9 – 10. Tiekartan on tarkoitus tasoittaa matkaa NDC-maailmaan. Keskustelemme yhdessä\, mitä muutoksessa tulee huomioida ja mitä kysymyksiä ostajan tulee esittää lentoyhtiöille\, matkatoimistoille ja varausjärjestelmätoimijoille. \nTilaisuuden fasilitoijana toimii Eija Kurttila Telia Companysta. Eijalla on laaja kokemus ja näkemys NDC:n kehitystyöstä. Hän on ollut mukana mm. IATA:n Travel Manager Advisory Group:ssa (TMAG). We are happy to invite all Nordic BTA Buyer Members to an interactive workshop Building Blocks for a successful SMMP on Tuesday 8 February at 13 – 15 CET / 14 – 16 EEST. \nThe workshop program has been created by a pan-Nordic working group of M&E experts: \nBobbi Djordjevic CMP has 24 years of experience within travel and meetings. As Global Category Manager for Meetings Events and Tradeshows at Dentsply Sirona\, the world’s largest provider of dental solutions\, Bobbi is responsible for the company’s global SMMP that includes more than 2000 meetings and events annually. \nBobbi has over many years been an active member of GBTA and SBTA\, sharing her experience with building SMMP and procurement driven approach to meetings and events strategies. She is presently serving as chair of the SBTA board. \nMeetings & Events professional Marika Rasmussen has worked with meetings and events in several large Danish and International pharmaceutical companies for more than 15 years\, where she has successfully implemented a strategic meeting management focus across the organizations she has been part of\, creating value by centralizing key competencies\, applying efficient processes\, and establishing innovative supplier partnerships within areas ranging from Clinical meeting management and Category management to Commercial projects to support strategic business objectives. \nMinna Torppa is Travel Manager of the Ministry of Defence in Finland since 2005. She has over a decade-long deep interest in the Meetings Management evolution\, and currently holds the position of Co-chair in the FBTA Meetings and Events Committee. SMAL on yhteydessä lipun ostaneisiin. \n  \nSuomen matkailualan liitto SMAL järjestää yhteistyössä Matka Nordic Travel Fair -messuorganisaation kanssa Global Travel Restart -tapahtuman keskiviikkona 25.8. klo 9 – 15. Ohjelma koostuu kolmesta alustetusta paneelikeskustelusta (Aviation\, Destinations\, Services) ja tapahtumaan voi osallistua joko paikan päällä Helsingin Messukeskuksessa tai virtuaalisesti. \nLipun hinta on 100 €/hlö paikan päällä ja 50 €/hlö virtuaalisesti osallistuttaessa. \nLisätiedot ja liput: Global Travel Restart

Leave your questions when registering\, or put them to our expert speaker Ray Rackham during the session. \nRay Rackham\, Managing Director of Newland Chase\, a CIBT company\, and an expert on immigration issues related to the UK will explain the ins and outs of travel to and from the UK following Brexit. \nRay is a qualified solicitor with 20 years’ experience in the Private\, Public\, Legal and Financial sectors\, and has spent the last decade building a worldwide\, industry leading Global Borders and Immigration program at HSBC; the largest and most comprehensive of its kind.  He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and the Inns of Court School of Law\, and started his career in a variety of Government secretariat roles\, including Development Aid policy for the Department for International Development\, the Ministry of Justice and the Police Science Secretariat of the Home Office. \nRegister here \nThe Q&A session is free of charge and open to all members of DBTA\, FBTA and NBTA + SBTA members holding a Premium membership.
