Results were shared during GBTA\u2019s Mid-Year Virtual Summit and Annual Business Meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The term of office for the newly elected Board members begins July 20, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Newly elected board officers, each elected for two-year terms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Denise Truso,<\/strong> CCTE, GTP Global Travel Manager PayPal, Inc. will serve as the new GBTA President.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mark Cuschieri<\/strong>, Executive Director, Global Head of Travel, UBS, will serve as the new GBTA Vice President.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The GBTA Direct Seat, Regional Europe, who will serve a three-year term:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jens Liltorp<\/strong>, CCTE, GLP Manager, Global Travel and Meetings LEO Pharma, Denmark<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FBTA is very happy for the election of two knowledgeable and experienced Europeans, and wishes Mark and Jens the best of success in their new role.<\/p>\n<p>To see the full current list of GBTA Board of Directors, visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gbta.org\/membership-and-communities\/global-leadership\/association-leadership\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) has announced eight (8) newly elected members to its global Board of Directors.
