{"id":4834,"date":"2024-11-26T16:08:05","date_gmt":"2024-11-26T14:08:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fbta.net\/?p=4834"},"modified":"2024-11-26T16:08:05","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T14:08:05","slug":"bt4europe-welcomes-eu-digital-plan-for-posted-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fbta.net\/en\/bt4europe-welcomes-eu-digital-plan-for-posted-workers\/","title":{"rendered":"BT4Europe welcomes EU digital plan for Posted Workers"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>European business travel network BT4Europe has welcomed a European Commission proposal to create a \u201cdigital declaration\u201d system for Posted Workers<\/h3>\n<p>But the Brussels-based group has urged the commission to <strong>go further and introduce \u201cmandatory exemptions\u201d to stop travellers having to complete Posted Worker and A1 forms when going on short-term business trips<\/strong>. <a title=\"Posted Workers\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstravelnewseurope.com\/QA\/Getting-to-grips-with-changing-EU-Posted-Worker-regulations\">Posted Workers<\/a> are sent to work in other EU countries by their organisations on a temporary basis, while the <a title=\"A1 form\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstravelnewseurope.com\/Global\/Did-You-Know-About-A1-Certificates\">A1 form<\/a> provides proof of payment of social security in another member state.<\/p>\n<p>Odete Pimenta da Silva, BT4Europe\u2019s treasurer, said: &#8221;This proposal represents a welcome move to reduce regulatory burdens, but it must go further. Short-term business trips should be completely exempted from the Posted Worker and A1 form requirements, and the digitisation of longer trips should be mandatory across all member
