Flight Emissions Label 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"h1\">BTN Europe: EU plans launch of Flight Emissions Label in 2025<\/h2>\n<p>The European Commission has launched a public consultation into the new EU Flight Emissions Label, which aims to provide airline passengers with \u201ctrustworthy and harmonised environmental information\u201d about flights.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative, which the EU hopes will be available for \u201cvoluntary use\u201d by airlines from 2025, is designed to provide \u201cstandardised information\u201d on the CO2 footprint of flights in the EU.<\/p>\n<p>How to measure the carbon emissions from flights and other modes of transport has become a major issue as the corporate travel industry attempts to make business trips more sustainable. <a href=\"https:\/\/bt4europe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>BT4Europe<\/strong><\/a>, the European network of business travel associations, has been <a title=\"calling for \u201cstandardised, accurate and comparable\u201d data\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstravelnewseurope.com\/Management\/BT4Europe-appeals-to-EU-for-standardised-CO2-data\">calling for \u201cstandardised, accurate and comparable\u201d data<\/a> on carbon emissions from travel since its formation two years.<\/p>\n<p><a
