By definition, a Strategic Meetings Management Program (SMMP) is a disciplined approach to managing enterprise-wide meetings and events. But starting a SMMP – easier said than done? We are happy to invite all Nordic BTA Buyer Members to an interactive workshop Building Blocks for a successful SMMP on Tuesday 8 February at 13 – 15 CET / 14 – 16 EEST.
The workshop program has been created by a pan-Nordic working group of M&E experts:
Bobbi Djordjevic CMP has 24 years of experience within travel and meetings. As Global Category Manager for Meetings Events and Tradeshows at Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest provider of dental solutions, Bobbi is responsible for the company’s global SMMP that includes more than 2000 meetings and events annually.
Bobbi has over many years been an active member of GBTA and SBTA, sharing her experience with building SMMP and procurement driven approach to meetings and events strategies. She is presently serving as chair of the SBTA board.
Meetings & Events professional Marika Rasmussen has worked with meetings and events in several large Danish and International pharmaceutical companies for more than 15 years, where she has successfully implemented a strategic meeting management focus across the organizations she has been part of, creating value by centralizing key competencies, applying efficient processes, and establishing innovative supplier partnerships within areas ranging from Clinical meeting management and Category management to Commercial projects to support strategic business objectives.
Minna Torppa is Travel Manager of the Ministry of Defence in Finland since 2005. She has over a decade-long deep interest in the Meetings Management evolution, and currently holds the position of Co-chair in the FBTA Meetings and Events Committee. As an active Buyer Member, Minna has also served in the FBTA Board, and given her valuable contribution to project group and committee work as well for FBTA as GBTA.
The virtual workshop is free of charge and available to buyer members of DBTA, FBTA, NBTA and SBTA only. SBTA buyer members with a “Grundpaket” can attend against a fee of SEK 795 + VAT.
