The Nordic Business Travel Summit planned for 17-18 March in Stockholm has been postponed by one year.
The annual Nordic Business Travel Summit (NBTS) 2020, which was scheduled to take place in Stockholm next week on 17-18 March 2020, has been postponed by one year to March 2021 due to the interest rate crisis.
GM of the Swedish Business Travel Association SBTA Lotten FowleriThe message, signed by Mr. n, smacks of great disappointment. Business travel associations are scrambling to find ways to support their industry and organise the most important joint event of the year, as well as an ambitious programme of meetings and training. "We are in a situation where we are stumbling down the steps of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs now rather than up. But at the heart of it all is the well-being and health of businesses and their employees," said Lotten Fowler in her message.
The NBTS organisers are trying to find ways to maintain and build on the work and resources already done after one year in spring 2021. The organisers are now asking for patience and understanding from the various stakeholders. How to move forward will be discussed once the situation is clarified (E. Havia)
