Finnair siirtyy täysin NDC-jakeluun 2025 loppuun mennessä

Finnair julkisti 16.9. aikovansa lopettaa perinteisen lentolippujen jakelun EDIFACT-teknologian*) kautta vuoden 2025 loppuun mennessä.

Tiedotteesta:

Finnair etenee kohti tavoitteita seuraavien askelien kautta, jotka tulevat voimaan heinäkuusta 2022 alkaen Euroopassa:
• Paras matkatoimistotarjooma niille toimistoille, jotka käyttävät suoraa NDC API-yhteyttä
• Suoran NDC API-yhteyden lisäksi NDC-sisältö saatavissa vain Finnairin sertifioimien aggregaattorien kautta (NDC aggregaattorit: Aaron Group, Travelfusion, Travelsky and Verteil)
• Finnairin Light-lipputyyppi poistuu perinteisestä EDIFACT-jakelusta
• EDIFACT-jakeluun tulee lisämaksu korkeampien jakelukustannusten kattamiseksi (12 €/suunta)
• Parempi valikoima hintapisteitä NDC-jakeluun
• Uusia tuoteratkaisuja NDC-jakeluun

There's a lot happening in the expense and travel management system arena at the moment, and distribution & booking issues are currently being considered by many buyer member companies. The FBTA's Traffic Committee, together with Finnair, is producing the desired Morning seminar on NDC on Tuesday 19th September. The event will cover the current state of the New Distribution Capability (NDC) project from the perspective of various parties in the travel management value chain; in addition to airlines, GDS, TMC, and buyer parties will be represented. Altogether more English The moderator of the event will be Aurélie Krau from Festive Road, IATA's NDC partner.

Change is in the air, and at the moment there is a lot happening with business travel distribution. FBTA, together with Finnair, is offering a breakfast seminar Spotlight on Distribution on 19 SeptemberThank you.
We will be taking a look at IATA’s New Distribution Capability from different angles, offering views from an airline, a TMC, a GDS as well as a Corporate Buyer perspective.

The seminar will be held English and is moderated by Aurélie Krau of Festive Road, IATA’s mentor for NDC.
