SEB’s €450 million acquisition of AirPlus from the Lufthansa Group, announced a little more than a year ago, has met all regulatory approvals and closing conditions, and AirPlus is a part of SEB Group as of Aug. 1, the company announced.

Euroopan komissio on ilmoittanut tiukentavansa kaikkien EU-alueen lentoasemien nesterajoituksia. Rajoitus astuu voimaan 1.9.2024 ja se on komission mukaan luonteeltaan tilapäinen.
EU:n asettamien tiukennusten myötä myös Helsinki-Vantaalla on palattava aiempaan käytäntöön, jossa nesteet on joko pakattava ruumaan meneviin laukkuihin tai kuljetettava pienemmissä pakkauksissa.

European aviation giant Lufthansa Group is to introduce a new “environmental cost surcharge” of up to €72 per flight to cover part of the cost of complying with new green regulatory rules for airlines. The group, which also includes Austrian Airlines, Swiss, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings, said the new environmental surcharge would apply to all tickets issued from 26 June 2024 for departures from 1 January 2025.

American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) ilmoittaa tänään 25.3.2024 päässeensä sopimukseen maailmanlaajuisen matka- ja kokoushallinnon toimijan Carlson Wagonlit Travelin (CWT) ostamisesta. Amex GBT:n pörssi- (NYSE) ja mediatiedote kertoo kaupan arvoksi USD 570 miljoonaa, ilman kassavaroja ja velkoja.
